Mrs. Newton, Parent of Grades 2 and 5 students from Hamilton, NJ:
My son, Anwar, completed Pre-K in public school and started Kindergarten. His teacher complained about him from the first day through to the fourteenth day, saying that he was disruptive. She did not take the time to get to know my sweet kid. My husband and I made the decision to pull him out of public school in week 2 and homeschool him. It was not our goal to homeschool for a long period of time but three years later, we finally found the perfect environment for him at Meadow View Junior Academy. Everyone was sweet, understanding and approached me with love and tenderness when they realized that Anwar had some educational blocks that they knew he needed to overcome. Today, I can say that because of the principal and teachers at Meadow View Junior Academy, my Anwar is on his way to doing amazing things! I have seen the growth in him and his self-confidence. Not only is the faculty amazing, but the students were too! They are very supportive of him and his fear of being on stage. The faculty, the students, and the gentle push for each child to learn an instrument all wrapped up in the best Christian education in town is what made this the best decision ever! When it was time for Ashur to start school, I knew exactly where he was going.
Ms. Lorenzo Former Parent of Grades 5 and 7 students from Lakewood, NJ:
I am a mother of two wonderful boys, Merlin and Nehemias. Almost 3 years ago we moved from Arkansas to Lakewood, New Jersey and I was so concerned about sending my kids to the public school, since they have always been enrolled in a Seventh-day Adventist Institution. So, another family and I started to pray and then I heard about MVJA. I was told that the school far away and asked whether we could financially afford to send the boys. I told them I would go to school and have a talk with the principal. I met with the principal, she was so nice and willing to work with us in all possible ways so we could send our kids to MVJA. So, we sent them, and it has been a blessing. I have seen God working with us in every step of the way and knowing that my kids are not just learning a regular curriculum but also learning about the truth of God’s word is priceless. With everything that is going on in the world, it is very peaceful to know that my kids are in good hands. Thanks to all Meadow View Junior Academy staff for all your help and all you do to help our kids be better people every day. I do really appreciate it.
