PGIF 26.09 | A Legacy of Faith, A Future of Purpose

πŸ‚ 60 Years of Faith, Service, and Purpose

For 60 years, Meadow View Junior Academy has been more than a school. It has been a place where faith has been nurtured, minds have been shaped, and generations of young people have been prepared to serve God and their communities.

This past weekend, we had the blessing of celebrating that legacy at our 60th Anniversary Fall Festival. It was truly a memorable evening filled with fellowship, laughter, and gratitude. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the alumni, families, friends, church members, and volunteers who came together to celebrate and support our school.

One of the most meaningful parts of this celebration was seeing our students experience the legacy of Meadow View firsthand. They were reminded that they are part of something much greater than themselves. The same God who guided this school through the past 60 years is still working in the lives of our students today.

Our theme this year, Pieces with a Purpose: United in Christ, reminds us that each of us has a special place in God’s kingdom. As we learn, grow, and serve together, we are preparing not only for our future here on earth but also for the glorious return of our Savior.

May we continue to live as citizens of heaven, reflecting Christ’s love and character as we eagerly await His Second Coming.

God is moving in this place, and we are grateful to be part of His work.

“For we are labourers together with God.” β€” 1 Corinthians 3:9 (KJV)

🍁 A Night to Remember!

Our 60th Anniversary Fall Festival brought together generations of the Meadow View family for an evening of celebration, fellowship, food, and fun!

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and helped make this milestone celebration possible. Your continued love and support remind us of the strength of our school community.

60 years of God’s faithfulnessβ€”and our story is still being written!

πŸ’ Notice, Wonder, and Think Deeper!

This week, our students practiced becoming more thoughtful observers through a simple but powerful routine: I Notice, I Wonder.

Students explored the difference between making an observation and asking questions about what they observe.

Noticing encourages students to pay attention to details and describe what they see. Wondering takes their thinking a step further by encouraging curiosity, questioning, and deeper understanding.

By asking questions such as “What do I notice?” and “What does this make me wonder?” students are developing important critical-thinking skills that help them look beyond the surface.

These skills extend beyond the classroom, helping students become curious learners who think carefully about the world God has created.

At Meadow View Junior Academy, we believe every child is a unique piece of God’s incredible plan.

If you know a family looking for a Christ-centered education where students are known, loved, and encouraged to grow academically and spiritually, we’d love to welcome them to our school family.

We are in need of volunteers to help with student supervision, building maintenance and projects, and transportation.

If you are able to help in any of these areasβ€”or in another wayβ€”please contact jcarnahan@mvja.org.

All volunteers are required to complete a criminal background check here.
