Educational Background
I graduated from Meadow View Junior Academy through Griggs International Academy in 2011. My time as an MVJA student helped shape my love for Christian education and gave me a deep appreciation for the unique environment that a small Adventist school provides.
In 2013, I began my studies at The College of New Jersey, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education in 2016. Since then, I have remained committed to growing as an educator while serving the students and families of Meadow View Junior Academy.
Since graduating from college, I have also earned my certification in Adventist Education.
My Philosophy of Adventist Education
I believe that every child is created in the image of God with unique gifts, abilities, and a purpose that extends far beyond the classroom. True education is more than the pursuit of academic knowledge. It is the development of the whole person: spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially. It is about restoring the image of God in each child.
As a Seventh-day Adventist educator, I believe that our calling is to partner with families in helping students develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ while equipping them with the knowledge, character, and practical skills they need to serve others. Academic excellence is important, but our ultimate goal is to prepare young people for lives of joyful Christian service today and for eternity with Christ.
Every lesson, every activity, and every interaction is an opportunity to reflect God’s love, encourage growth, and help students become thoughtful, compassionate, and faithful followers of Jesus.
My Vision for MVJA
My vision is for Meadow View Junior Academy to be a thriving, Christ-centered community where students are known, loved, challenged, and inspired to become all that God has created them to be.
I hope to strengthen the partnership between our school, our families, and our churches so that we create an environment where students flourish academically, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and develop hearts for service.
As we look to the future, I am committed to building upon the strong foundation of Adventist education while continuing to improve our campus, expand opportunities for students, foster excellence in teaching, and prepare every child for lives of faithful service and for the soon return of Jesus Christ.
